I think Bendy needs a tail. Even though theMeatly has confirmed it on the first "Answers to your Bendy questions" video that he can have one, he needs to go and update the game and give him a tail.
Comparing fan art to the animation ... I now no longer now. I say tail, but ... the animation still makes Bendy awesome without a tail. And Boris needs one two! A nice, semi-bushy tail. He, definitely. But now after the animation, I'm a bit indecisive on Bendy having a tail ... but I'm going to stick with my guns bit and say 'yes tail".

Boris is meant to have a bushy tail, as seen in the "sheep songs" poster. As for Bendy, well, I'm not too sure on whether or not Bendy should have one, despite him being often depicted with one in fanart (then again, it is fanart).

But that's funny. In the poster, Boris has a tail. In the game and the animation, he does not.

In the game, dare I repeat myself? I'm sure the one that we've met in-game isn't the "True" Boris, he's an experiment. So him not having a tail, I can live with. Bendy is a demon, and demons are often depicted with tails... I won't say I'm against the idea, but is it necessary? Would it just be too much? For the simple, (80's?) design, I'm happy with him having no tail. He may just take after Goofy and Pete in that respect  Also take into account, is Bendy wearing pants? |

i think a tail would give bendy more character iwhen he walks as the tail sways as bendy walks

tail are awesome have u seen a dog witout a tailit becomes less awesome. when u see a dog with a tail wagging it the dog instantly becomes 20% cooler

And in the trailer, if you look closely, the miniature Bendy (whom we all believe it to be) has in fact got a tail following him.

Mini Bendy! When he's running from Alice. You said he had her halo, GW. I distinctly saw a tail! Though, I don't see how it adds any character to him... tails are weird.

It's an extension of the spine that often gets in the way... but I'm getting overly technical, again. Will bendy be able to control his tail (if indeed he has one), or do you think it'll act on it's own accord?
