Well, what's your overall opinion on the fandom?
I absolutely LOVE it. I think it's popularity may beat FNAF (and is better than it just on preferrance of which I'd replay more quickly). While I'm comparing it to FNAF, as terms of scary, right now FNAf wins on that. Then again, after BATIM ch 3 comes out that may change, but I'm not one to get scared easily and sorry, FNAF wins on that point. I really fail to see how BATIM is a horror game. As for graphics and story, BATIM definitely wins. Now FNAF has an intriguing story as well as tests some of my CJU skills, but I'd rather Bendy. Not to mention, Bendy has free roam which I love. FNAF SL tried that but fail. Scott, first stick with simple point and click, and second, if you're going to use free raom now, please let the player have freee reign of the controls. I didn't like the half free roam with point and click. Like I said I'd replay BATIM quicker.
BATIM easily has to be my favorite game (with the exception of Skyrim!).

What a great thread, ya got here
My opinion? Well, I absolutely love the game and its concept. It's atmosphere is great, as is its art. I am very impressed with the amount of work put into this game, as well. I also enjoy the puzzle mixed with some atmospheric horror, which makes for a very interesting game. Plus, it is about cartoons! Who doesn't love cartoons? It has aspired some great fanart, music, and animations, and has created a decent-sized fanbase. The one thing I don't enjoy is the pricing. While chapter 1 is free, it takes 10-15 minutes to complete it. Considering it's free, I don't mind the playthrough time. However, Chapter 2 is about the same length as the first one, but it costs $6. I wouldn't mind paying 6 dollars for this game, but paying that much for a 15-minute segment seems a bit too much. However, theMeatly did say that Ch 3 is going to be much longer, so it hopefully will be worth $6.
BATIM is one of my favorite games, right behind SWTOR, TF2, and EVE Online.

batim imo will need to get the user hooked on the lore same as fnaf. but i think why we like it is the art and the lore cause tbh the game-play is rubbish. if the producers are able to make compelling lore with the art style it would be a contender for the king of indie horror genre. i think the setting and atmosphere is just splendid.

I think the game play is way better than FNAF. I DISAGREE IN A SENSE CAUSE FANAF POINT WAS TO TAKE POWER AWAY FROM THE PLAYER TO GIVE MORE SENSE OF POWERLESS THEN REGULAR HORROR GAMES this feed into the fear of the player being amplified by the sense of powerlessness. bend in away give us the ability to move for the reason of displaying its setting which is key to improve the lore and give a very compelling aesthetic to the game.

And I disagree because there is still the sense of hopelessness with the free roam of BATIM. You have to basically use skills used in Outlast (run, hide, or die) to avoide dying. Yeah, you're given an ax and fighting the searchers is kinda lame, but can it stop "Bendy"? No. You have to rely on the run, hide, or die mentality. I see the game starting to mimic Outlast now, and Outlast is the best psych horror free roam game out there.

i dun think batim beats fanaf in game play i mean both have very generic game play. i think its baitm setting aesthetic and whimsical art style that draws people to it. i like its old cartoon art style which i think is a different way to tell a horor story.i believe batim is superior than fnaf not cause of the gameplay but the style of the game.

I say the game play is too, but then I'm more into free roam. Point and click can get annoying on me. Even FNAF 4 and FNAF SL's partial free roam kinda got on my nerves.
