What do you think about sub-boards/childboard/mini (or whatever you call them)? I have an example: in the miscellaneous section you have the showcase. Why not after you click the showcase button it will send you to a mini board that a member can click on a certain title and it will send them to that specific thing. For instance you would click showcase, and a mini board comes up, listing all the things available in that section (art, videos, fanfiction, animations, etc). You then click say fanfiction and all the threads for BATIM fanfiction are all right there.
I definitely can suggest it for the showcase section, but we can try and keep up with all the different fandoms in the off topic section (though that may pose as an unnecessary headache). Maybe a other fandoms section with a mini board for each fandom, and use the off topic section for things like politics, debates, religion, sports, world news?
